My
mom found this recipe and wanted to try it out for Mother’s Day. It was a
delicious cake and SO EASY!!
Ingredients:

C. flour
·
2
C. sugar
·
6
T. cocoa
·
2
tsp. baking soda
·
1
tsp. salt
·
2/3
C. melted butter
·
2
T. vinegar
·
2
C. water
Icing:
·
4
T. cocoa
·
1
Stick butter
·
1
Box powdered sugar (equivalent to 2 C.)
·
1
tsp. vanilla
Mix
the first 5 ingredients together.
Melt
the butter:
Add water, butter, and vinegar.
Mix only until blended, batter will be thin.
Bake
at 325 degrees F. for about 30 minutes, or until tester comes out clean. I
ended up cooking mine for 40 minutes.
Icing:
Bring
cocoa, butter and milk to a boil.
Add
powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat well and pour over hot cake.
